Do you truly have one in your basement? (I wouldn’t be surprised which is why I can’t tell if your joking.)

The group is fairly close knit, there’s a lot of people in the amateur fusion community with currently 48 people having achieved fusion on an amateur level.

“Farnsworth Fusors” are used as commercial neutron generators and are simple enough for kids to enter the intel science fair with. last year some kid won something on a local level with his. A few years back Micheal Li (who was 17 at the time) won the $75,000 intel prize.

I’ve built 4 of these things so far with the 5th almost complete using university surplus equipment. As a college student I have to scrounge and dumpster dive for the parts, lol.

Sorry if my post was out of place I goggled neutron generator and found something about a woman with a neutron generator. Naturally with that being rare I just had to ask!

Out of the 48 (known) private individuals in the world with homemade Deuterium-Deuterium neutron generators (called Farnsworth Fusors) there are only 2 women and I can name them.
